The FF was developed as a beer flowmeter with the requirements of German draft beer systems in mind. It can be opened without any tools for easy cleaning. The optional proper bearing allows for mounting in any orientation. Plus, with the optional integrated liquid detection probe, it allows for only liquid measurment, not measuring foam or carbonated gas when the line is emptied.
Thanks to the low-friction ruby bearing it is also suitable for dairy products.
